Portugal South Coast - Lisbon to Spanish Border

The Belém Tower once stood on a small island in the centre of Rio Tejo but the river's course altered after the earthquake. Just up from it we saw a number of ancient canons near lookout stations. A cafe is conveniently located here too with a nice view of the river and park.
